Some people some people don't.

I am using 3G on my SH-07B with a iNEX Hypersim (With blue PCB), when it needs to regain a signal, it'll restart itself :)

Nope, you don't need a security code. Its something else, not sure what it is though

I bring along a spare phone cause my SIM card is old and can't support the auto-CRP function. I use the spare phone as a media player anyway, so it isn't much of a big difference to me.

Hello guys, my first posting here :D

i'm planning to buy SH-06A NERV this week :D
and i'm gonna ask, which Hypersim is the best among the others,?
i mean, perhaps there's a hypersim (which i don't know), that can unlock the cell phone, so that i can use the 3G service to browse the internet.

and i was told by a seller, that he can unlock my SH-06A, is it really possible?
and what is the difference between unlocking by hypersim and unlocking by software?

thanks before :D

Firstly,

there is definitely no software unlock for this model, the only unlocking method is via the hypersim. The difference between this two methods is just "signal stability". Software unlocked sets have practically no problems with losing signal. However, that being said... the solutions with hypersim nowadays have improved heaps where we have hypersim that auto-reconnects whenever there is a signal loss. So no problems for this part here.

Personally, I recommend you to get Benny's hypersim. BB-Sim. You might want to drop him a pm via the username: n_bennyhk here in HWZ. Ive been using this hypersim for quite a while now and I have practically no signal loss.

Cheers,
ipj

having a weird problem with setting date style. I'm current using one of the kisekae style or whatever they call it on my SH-07B. i changed the date style to style number 1/2/3/5/etc etc. but the thing is it always stays as style 4 (which i assume is the default for the kisekae style) even though under the option it says style 1/2/3/etc etc. anyways of handling this? the kisekae style is seriously damn complex and irritating.

lol Don't use kisekae, set all the menu options in the settings using Data Box, I find it a lot more customizable than using kisekae :)

His site is down I think. This is one of his sales thread in HWZ.

If you wanna get in Japan, get a NTT DoCoMo and make sure it has GSM. If you wanna be safe, look through the NTT DoCoMo site and narrow down to a couple of phones. Check that they have GSM and if still in doubt, check back here with the list and we'll confirm it for you. :)
