The only thing you need to do is to make sure your SH-06A is switch to GSM/GPRS only.
After that do a cpr on your sim card (without any hypersim attach) to a local phone (force switch to GSM mode only). Call out and in.
Remove sim card on your local phone, attach hypersim to your sim card and insert it to your SH-06A.
If still got problem, then go to tiffian and ask them to solve your problem.

Several HWZ forumners have purchased their original keitai accessories through me before, some regular fellow HWZ members like Skyline R34 can attest that for me and so far no-one has had any reliability issues with my service. I don't do this as a living though, usually I just ask my japanese contact for such purchase requests so there is usually a 2-3 weeks of waiting period involved, so if you're not really urgent in getting one then perhaps you can drop me a PM with yr relevant contacts and I will help u with yr request. I am also able to purchase SH-06A's original battery pack or its desktop charging dock easily in JP, so if you ever require those you can lemme know via PM as well.

Ok, I have my system locale as Japanese, so I skipped the AppLocale part.

The thing is when I connect up the phone to the PC, my internet disconnects(using USB wireless adapter). The datalink managed to see my phone in communication mode with my wireless adapter still attached to its usb port, albeit it's not working anymore. But then during the authentication part, the phone says 'Connection interrupted' and I lose my Starhub signal. And ultimately I'm still unable to port my phonebook to my PC.

Datalink doesn't read my phone if the wireless adapter is not connected to a USB port. Thus I conclude I have no more hairs to pull out and I resign myself to just changing every contact with the phone..

For your case, I don't think it's an OS issue since you already mentioned you can switch the system locale to Japanese which means u're already on Vista Ultimate 32-bit, I have had Vista 32-bit OS on my Vaio P before and never had any connection issues with regards to NTT docomo's DataLink Utility, so the OS issue is ruled out.

My personal guess is either yr USB wireless adapter is causing the problem, or u're using an incompatible FOMA USB cable for connecting yr handset to your PC. You might want to try using a normal 5V-powered USB port instead (those located at the back of your PC, not the front-bay ports) or try getting hold of NTT docomo's FOMA USB cable 02 accessory, since I have also read on several discussion forums before with users having such connectivity issues with their handsets, due to having an incompatible USB cable.

If you can't find any means yourself to get hold of that official USB cable, can drop me a PM request as well, like what I had mentioned to Sandykun via my previous post on this thread.

It might be the SIM card you are using too. Older SIM cards seems to be less compatible with hypersim.

For me, Outram Park to Redhill area also used to be a problematic area for me, usually get OUT, especially travelling from Redhill to Outram. I recently got my SIM card changed and I hadn't had to CPR since. Same applies for the other places where I used to had to CPR. I'm still using the same hypersim as before.
