Docomo phone do not support MP3 format. You may choose to use WMA format which I think the sound quality is not bad.

I dont know where to find a solution for my problem , so i'll just post here.

I got a Docomo SH-01A , with a Mr.Sim 2.1 , My current carrier is Singtel.

I tried to insert the hypersim and my original simcard inside , but howevery way i do it , It keeps telling me "UIM not recognised"

I thought i snipped the wrong side , and ended up snipping half of the simcard away D: Kinda works still though.

So i need help! Can someone help me~?
Im getting a new simcard asap @A@.

Thank you~!

Hi all,

I just bought a docomo phone SH-01B 1 to 2 days ago. I have encountered alot of problem and would like to seek help from the kind users over here.

Firstly I am using a hypersim. I hear that it is one of the best sim cards around and when it looses the signal it will auto search the signal back. However this is not the case for me as once the signal is lost it cannot get back. Have done CPR however each time the signal last from a few minutes to a few hrs before it lost again. I really cannot imagine check my phone all the time for signal it will drive me crazy.

Secondly is the Datalink I have been searching everywhere but cannot find the link for it. The buyer I bought from says can find it online but I have been searching for it for hours and no results. Hope someone can direct me there.

Lastly is regarding post #9 by Skyline R343. It is very useful however 1 big problem I cannot understand the codes and how do I go around doing it. I know it may be a bit troublesome but can any kind souls here do a demo of how I should do it.

Really appreciate the help as I feel very frustrated that all these basics function that I want to use cannot be used.

Hi everyone, I am new to keitais and also very interested in getting the SH-10C. In fact, I've already met up with Benny to make the deal. However, apprarently my sim card - which what Benny says is the new Starhub Sim card, and it can't be detected by the SH-10C. Any suggestions for me lets say I just want to get the SH-10C.

My Starhub contract is ending soon and I would prefer to stick with Starhub, but if theres other suggestions that need me to change to other telecom provider, im also open with it.

Main issue now is I doesnt know how all these different sim cards look like, so I wont be able to know whether it will work together with my SH-10C. I read up quite a few threads already and cant find any dicussions regarding the sim cards problem, only problems related with hypersim. I also saw people selling off their SH-10C in the forum cos they were unable to find a sim card that works with the SH-10C.

I want to avoid this problem - to find a sim card that will work with the phone rather than to purchase the phone first and then having trouble looking for a suitable sim card...

Please advice, your help will be greatly appreciated.

Anyone knows how to type sms in Japanese?

You'll have to go to message settings (probably somewhere in message/mail, then settings.) There's a character setting/encoding setting, which can be set as 70 or 160. You'll have to select the 70 to enable input of Japanese characters.

Once set its all about changing the input method to Japanese. :D

You can also input English while set as 70, but it'll be a pain =:p
