Im enrolling this aug in engineering. How to go about signing up for camps? Like engine camp, hall camp etc?

I believe more information on orientation will be out on the NTU website soon (sometime after you've received your matriculation number if I remember correctly)

Rumor has it.... that after you apply there will be another round of filtering based on looks

NTU website has a section for orientation camps with websites linked to them.

You can register there. But right now no camp has been listed yet.

Insinyur(engine camp) is super hard to get in if you are a guy. Hall camp is confirm in. If you're feeling adventurous like me you can go for psychology camp which accepts guys from all faculties due to them lacking lots of guys

imo, camps are over-rated. there are many other ways of meeting people which does not involve silly games. I did not keep in touch with most of the people I met at freshmen camps.

Second that. Hall camps are a good way to make inroads into the hall committees

Iirc SU has a committee of its own running the orientation camp. That means that there's an FOC committee within SU that plans the camp and the SU President is merely there to be the liaison between the school and the FOC committee.

My theory -> The committee screwed up and the SU President has to take the blame as the boss. That's what I think lah

The foc committee like totally nothing to do with the su president lol.

The su president like some random China guy? Then uoc foc people all the popz kids, no link at all

Okay it seems I had a wrong impression.
All I know is, this past one year, the SU has been pretty much useless
