Nicee. :) anyway in your opinion, do u think appealing to Chinese or nie stands a higher chance? I know it's quite impossible to judge, just what u think? :)

I was rejected by NIE but accepted by NTU chinese which was quite surprising due to the cop of the courses. I guess NTU should be easier also taking consideration that I put it as my 4th choice and I can get in? The demand also seems to be higher for nie degree than ntu chinese. All these are my observation, may not be correct.
I have heard alot nie applicants were rejected without any interview or what. NTU chinese seems to look at your past chinese results, hence if you really do well in them, your chance should be high. :)
What have you applied care to share?

yeaa.. i also say.. but no harm trying.. :p but im thinking of which one to appeal since i can only choose 1 course to do so.. NIE or chinese. anyway i saw from the other thread, that if nie rejects u for the degree course it will be hard to appeal as well rite? like not much use appealing nie.. correct me if im wrong. :)

Yes. I personally feel that chances for ntu chinese is much higher than nie appeal. The problem now is, do you write an appeal in chinese or english since you want to appeal for chinese?
