Meaning to say you've alr cleared your GERPE for biz and you're only left with your GERPE for STS?

They are taking it under UE(Unrestricted electives)?

It just means you have fulfilled the requirements for your GER-PE(BM).
Even after completing that GER-PE category, you can still choose to take more electives from that category. These electives will count towards your UE requirements.
For example, I need to take 3AUs from each of the GER-PE(LS/STS/AHSS). After completing the 3AUs requirements for all of these categories, I can still take more mods that are normally counted as GER-PE. I will then be clearing them as UEs, to count towards the 12AUs of UEs that I need to clear as an NBS student. This can come from AHSS (9AUs) and STS (3AUs) or any other combinations that make up 12 AUs.
Of course, I can choose not to take mods from the GER-PE categories.

Note: Not all GER-PEs can be classified as UEs. You have to check and make sure that they can be re-classified.

Please refer to the website for registration schedule. The column on the left should also include release of GerPe/Ue allocation results date.

MA9001 Intro to energy is an excellent choice if you want to S/U it. The assessment is based on 3 MCQ tests, no finals, no project, lectures are recorded.

Each MCQ weightage is 30%, 40% and last one is 30%. About 10 questions per set of MCQ so the bell curve is kinda of steep since everyone is scoring near to full marks.

Recommended if you want a module that is not so demanding, but if you want to score, it will be quite difficult to get A. B+ should not be a problem even if you do make a few mistakes.

Read through several pages and I probably won't score in most of these supposedly good to score mods. :s22:

Any electives that require presentations or report writing type? Or memory-based just swallow notes type? Cannot make it in physics maths sports language kind of subject. I major in Finance.

Need 3 more As to reach First Class. :(

Astro. Although they may seem to have quite a bit of physics, its just simple basic physics applied to Astro. Climate and climate change as well. All MCQ.

Intro to Advertising was also easy for me. One short group presentation, one essay, finals was short essay questions and True/False. Want to get first class but want to just swallow notes is really not quite possible. Maybe in NBS can la. Other schools quite difficult.

Philosophy mods have no finals. Mods like Moral Philo, Philo of Technology are all quite easy as well. Moral Philo is just one essay and 2 quizzes. Moral is the easiest out of all the philo mods out there. Phil of Tech/Science is just 2 essays. Intro to Philo is 2 essays and one presentation. Most of the essays assigned quite short also. About 2000 words.

If you can't write essays you can try Logic and Paradoxes. No essays, just one mid term and one final quiz. No finals also. If you can understand then its actually quite easy to get A for philo mods.
