Astro. Although they may seem to have quite a bit of physics, its just simple basic physics applied to Astro. Climate and climate change as well. All MCQ.

Intro to Advertising was also easy for me. One short group presentation, one essay, finals was short essay questions and True/False. Want to get first class but want to just swallow notes is really not quite possible. Maybe in NBS can la. Other schools quite difficult.

Philosophy mods have no finals. Mods like Moral Philo, Philo of Technology are all quite easy as well. Moral Philo is just one essay and 2 quizzes. Moral is the easiest out of all the philo mods out there. Phil of Tech/Science is just 2 essays. Intro to Philo is 2 essays and one presentation. Most of the essays assigned quite short also. About 2000 words.

If you can't write essays you can try Logic and Paradoxes. No essays, just one mid term and one final quiz. No finals also. If you can understand then its actually quite easy to get A for philo mods.

Thanks thanks. Waitlisted Astro but I got no physics background at all. Not even in sec school.

I'm damn slack one. Just attend lessons to absorb passively. All along getting low to mid 2nd upper gpa.

But last sem I think cause all the zai people in nbs went on exchange so the bell curve was affected. Got a near perfect gpa without much effort pulling my cgpa to 4.4.

Calculated I still need 9 AUs (3 mods) of As to hit 4.5, so trying to see if any elective can help. Most of my remaining cores I can just feepay clear on exchange. So still got some chance to graduate with first class if electives can pull me up haha.

Essays I'm so-so I guess? My strength is able to just talk on the spot even without preparation and smoke or fluff my way through. Guess this only works in business haha.

Anyone took malay language as an elective in ntu before?

Is it hard to pass? Good enough to understand documents in malay language?

Taking as currently n future doing business in msia.

Sent from Tefal Delice OF-2731 Smart-WiFi Convection Oven using GAGT

i've taken level 1 before, its relatively easy to score for me as it is easy to pick up

Advantage is singapore do use some malay words, which make you better relate it to daily lives..

As for understanding documents and doing business, i think need to take at least till level 2, level 1 still quite basic

Anyone took this mod before?

Can share question bank or anything?

This is financial management for business students.

Can be a time consuming module to study for. Recommended if you have some accounting knowledge.

Not a elective worth taking at all though, requires much efforts to score an A, might not even get it. Quizzes questions are set from the questions bank if you can get it from your friends.
The question banks is roughly 100 questions per chapter though, which is a lot.

Are electives exclusive to our course of study?

Or does we get to choose electives from other school.

Eg. Engineering taking electives from school of business?

There are two main kinds of electives:
GER-PE & GER-UE
PEs come under different pillars, e.g. AHSS, LS/LA, STS, BM
UE are unrestricted electives that can be taken from almost anywhere, including NIE (if I'm not wrong, core mods of other courses can be taken as UEs as well - I know of a guy who took it to clear a minor)
Different courses have different requirements for the number of electives to be taken from each category

so if let's say i am interested in a particular elective for GER-PE but I am of a different pillar than the stated course, there is no way for me to join it right?

Put it simply :
Core : modules related to your course that you must clear
GERPE & UE : elective modules that are does not have to be related to your course

This means that you can take elective not related to your core modules.
GERPE & UE are very similar, yet they are different.
when you choose a elective, you can opt for them to be considered as GERPE or UE.
You are required to clear a certain amount of elective as GERPE, as well as UE.(depending on your course)

hello all, am taking intro to energy this sem. for the upcoming quiz, they are splitting the class according to A-N and M-Z into 2 lts.

but the thing is, all my friends are in the A-L, and im the only one in the M-Z. i was wondering, would there be any implications if i just go and take the quiz in the A-L lt? it's a big class, roughly 180 students in the A-L lt and 140 students in the M-Z lt. my bet is assuming they wont pass around a name list, since it's such a big class. would be good if someone can enlighten me on this.

thanks all!
