Not sure who to email or call because the emails never left any contact information other than the FB group. It's probably organised unofficially by the student union so the hostel staff also don't know what's going on.

Hi... does anyone know if it’s easy to get a room in hall if I were to apply in Year 2? I didn’t apply this year because $$ :”) But planning to save up for next year’s! Also since NTU students are guaranteed 2 years in hall is it only for those who are already staying from year 1 or new applicants as well? Thank u TT

On ntu website, "incoming new students are guarantee a residential place on campus in their first two years" which means u are guaranteed a place for your first year and also for your second year.
