Hi, I'm matriculating in NTU in AY16/17 and need to attend a health screening for that. Does anyone know how long this health screening will take?

try to book the earlier ones if possible, if book close to the last few slots would take longer, drag till lunch time it would move slower. mine took abt 2hrs :s22:

It depends, I waited for 50 minutes. The only wait was to see the Doctor, who will only see you for 2-5 minutes. Followed by urine dipstick test and chest x-ray (without any waiting time). After x-ray, free to go home already.

By the way, remember to bring your confirmation slip + filled medical form (sent and linked in email)

Take shuttle bus from pioneer instead of 179. Campus Rider brings you directly to the medical centre, whereas you have to walk quite abit if you take 179.

Ok, from what you guys have said, I think booking the earlier slots would be best way to minimise waiting time. Thanks.

So essentially, there's only 2 tests uh?

They will request for our blood type? I don't know mine too

Your health booklet since you were born should tell you that? Or ask your parents? =/

Def have to pay more for a blood test though.

Any idea if I can just walk in without making an appointment?

Maybe you can call up the medical clinic to check?

They didn't require a blood test unless you're a double degree programme in Biomedical Sciences and Chinese Medicine/LKCMedicine MBBS programme/international student (If I'm not wrong)
Indeed, it costs more for the blood tests :s12:
