NTU MSc Interview & Written Test?

What is your current application status and Remarks? I am also an international applicant but I didn't receive any E-Mail for written test (or) a call for interview.

if u dun even receive call for written test or interview, meaning u are NOT shortlisted, becos it was over already the session..........

I also had the written exam on the same day. But, I didnt receive the email on time on that day. I got the email sometimes later. You had the same issue?

Still I have not recieved any result about results of the written exam. I also didnt get any email regatding a phone interview. What about you? Do you have any idea about when they are going to release results? schedule phone interviews?

Yes, I faced the same issue, I got it aroung 9:30 Singapore Time , but I took the alloted half hour to complete the test and sent it back.

I then sent a seperate mail telling them about the delay, and they send that many of the applicants had faced the same issue and that will not be held against your results.

Even I have not received any confirmation regarding the test nor the phone interview. But I believe the phone interview they keep if it is necessay , not sure though... ll have to keep fingers crosses.

My application status is still "Application Under Process" and remarks column is blank.

For international applicants , I think it is not necessary they might call u for test or interview if your profile is good enough. Have to keep fingers crossed.

Oh thats great!!... so can u please let us know on the process, with regards to the Msc(IS) course... Like when do we get the results, what are the steps after the written test etc...

Actually this course is not hot, just that the entry requirements is set to disgustingly low & they are rejecting students who would not qualify as they want to earn more $$

In other words, although you "are eligible for the course", but if you did not have good bachelor results from IT discipline & not working in famous corporations, good luck

yup, they are easily to apply but not easily to get in....

i was told they got 800++ applicants, and they need 100++ students..........

A couple of weeks ago, I overheard a A.Prof. mentioned that for the 3 courses - Information Systems, Information Studies and Knowledge Management, there were about 1500 applicants in total. Only about half were shortlisted (750+) for interviews. I think each course has vacancies for 100 odd each?

1500, seems a bit low, everyone woke up to their ploy?
Or they should lower their requirements to Diploma so even more will apply?
Of these 1500, they intend to reject 1200, 100 as standby, accept 300

With this post of yours, I'm also confused now.
What about your application status now?

Mine still says App Under Process. Remarks : Blank... If one is not shortlisted at least they should mention it.. Why make us wait!!.

Mine is still App Under process, though I know I will not be selected. What does shortlisted mean??... First I get a mail saying I am shortlisted for Written test... then I get a mail saying I am not shortlisted....

at least u got shortlisted, mine was stated as "Not selected for admission but placed on reserve list" =( sucks...
