¤ Shortlisted for further consideration and approval by Board of Graduate Studies. Applications that are approved by the Board will be followed up with a letter of offer through the mail. You may check for an update of your application status later via this web page.

My APPLICATION STATUS changed to shortlisted as well. If you read through this thread, there are people who say that shortlisted means a high chance of getting accepted into the course. Let's hope this is true.

My status got changed to "Shortlisted" as well, but the weird thing is, I didn't go through any interview, just the written test so its not based on just the people that went through the interview stage.

Shortlisted means that you are considered by NTU and have a quite high chance of being accepted but not totally definite. The final definite result will still come around early May so still keep your fingers crossed.

Hello Prasath2608, the other programme, I've applied for is MSc in embedded systems.. Looks like there is no interview process for shortlisting here.. As for the MSc information systems, I did not get invite for the interview/test...
No idea, about how much is the chance of being offered admission, but atleast there is some +ve status change after so long.. and hope can expect the final results soon..

Shortlisted is 99% confirmed. Unless 'something' is wrong e.g. false declaration, etc, which they found out. Otherwise, sit back and relax while you can. Come Aug2012, u dun have a life until you graduate (if u r studying part time).

First of all, congrats to those who have been shortlisted so far

I Graduated last year after doing this course as a full timer. When I applied in 2010, i was invited for an online essay test first and then my status changed to shortlisted (around 20 days or so before status changed to "offered admission"); I was an international candidate and noticed that mostly Singaporeans and other applicants from within Singapore are shortlisted and offered admission in the first batch.

Also during my academic year (2010-11) the youth olympic games was going on in NTU and the admission results were delayed because of it.

Not very sure about this year though, but i guess overall the process would somewhat still be the same. In that regard, i guess almost all of you who have been shortlisted should get the admission offer (unless of course, there is some other exceptional reason) within the next few weeks.

Does being shortlisted for first choice automatically disqualifies for the second choice?
I think so.. I had applied Info Sys as my second choice and not shortlisted yet..

Meanwhile, got shortlisted for my first choice which is embedded systems..

I had a confusion in selecting my first choice during application and now realize would be much happier if i get shortlisted for info systems..

Anybody has idea if it is possible to change my first choice at this point?

Is there anyone who applied for Knowledge Management ???

I have applied for two courses : MSc(Information Systems) which is my first preference and related to my current work experience and then Msc(Knowledge Management) as second preference.

I wanted to join Info Systems but I got shortlisted for Msc(Knowledge Management). My app for Information Systems is still under process. Totally Confused !!!!

Application under review? Or is it Application under Process? It's weird if the status is under review since it's so different from all others.
