Wow congrats Nealwi! Seems like you have moved on to the next stage very quickly! Very happy for you :)

Curious now if the phone interview is only for Information Studies where it is more about communication skills or it is also for Information Systems. Is anyone applying for Info Sys get an email about a phone interview?

But anyway, to answer your question Nealwi, everyone would get different questions in the interview depending on your answers to these 3 most common questions:

- Tell me about yourself (to get to know more about you, your background and your past to see if you have the right qualification and mindset for the course)
- Why have you chosen to take [enter your chosen degree here]? (to get to know your current thoughts to see if this course is the right path for you, they might recommend you to take a different path)
- What is your future ambition (to get to know how would you use what you could have learned in the course for your plans for the future and if you would actually need this course to get to where you want to be)

Good luck!

Tq so much...

Tq for the info

I must get this rite this time...hehehe

Update from WKWSCI's FB Page:

Admissions Interviews 2012 Update - 30 March 2012

When will I know the outcome of my application?

Our India and China interviews are on-going at the moment and the Singapore interviews will be held this Saturday, 31 March 2012. The outcome should be known by end May 2012 for most applicants. You can check your application status online using your application id.

Early Offers

We will be informing the last batch of early offers this coming Monday. The numbers are small as we want to be selective (applicants do not need to go through an interview). We will give an interim email to this small group of applicants. The email does not constitute an offer, as the early offer recommendations need to go through a couple of levels of approval. But if you are a recipient, we hope it will give you an indication that you have passed the school's round of selection.

Singapore Interviews

For those coming for the Singapore interviews, do remember to bring your photo id and we would appreciate your punctuality. After signing in, if you are early or on time, you will be shown to a waiting area or to the test room immediately. After the 30 minutes writing test, you will be shown to the waiting area again. A staff or a Professor will come round to call you for the interviews. We think we have managed to shorten the waiting time for candiates (after numerous years of practice!) but due to the large number of people attending and some candidates taking slightly longer than expected, you may have to wait a while, so do bring some reading material. Looking forward to meeting you!

p.s. Forum din't allow me to post the link but, you can follow the link posted few posts before.

I was just done with the interview.

The question I got was "What role does information play a part in shaping our national development?"

During the interview, I was tested on some programming and maths questions (probability, matrix, logarithm). He was generally fine with me but he wanted assurance that I would not give up on the program halfway. The entire interview lasted around 15-20 minutes for my case.

Hope this helps!

I have liked all of the NTU FB page and gone through every single one of them but could not find this information. But anyway thank you so much misinterest for posting this. You're a star!

Too bad there's no information for international applicants from the UK or others outside India and China regarding interviews or the likes so I guess I have to cross even more of my fingers

No status update. It's the same old 'Application under process'.

Same here, I wish they would notify us if we don't get in ASAP so we can plan the next steps. If we don't get in, why are they delaying in notifying us about it??? Its just ridiculous!
