NTU offer letter

Hi guys , I have a few questions about NTU's offer letter. I have applied during the early admission period and until now , I have yet to hear from them. My friends whom are from the same poly (SP) have already gotten their offers and I am wondering why mine is being delayed. As I am a foreigner , I am wondering if they consider the local and foreign applicants differently (I have a friend who is a foreigner and hasn't gotten his offer as well.) . I have also applied to SUTD and as their deadline was over before the NTU offer letter came , I accepted it and planned to withdraw from it when the NTU offer letter comes in. May I know when NTU sends out offers for foreign students ? And has anyone here been in the same situation before? Thanks in advance.

If this helps , I am from SP , graduating with a dip. in EEE and applied for EEE in NTU as well. My O Level L1R4 - 20 without CCA and Poly GPA - 3.967 after 6 sems.

Foreigners are considered separately from locals as there is a maximum quota for foreigners.

20% limit if i am not mistaken. As such, it is competitive for foreigners to enter NTU.

With your score you should be able to get into NTU EEE despite being a foreigner. Just be patient.
Nevertheless, do call the admission hotline to ask.

Dun worry, I also applied under the NTU early admission scheme, and I haven't not heard from NTU as of now. But there are a few differences between u and my situation:

i) i'm local and from NYP
ii) my CGPA is 4
iii) I applied chemical engineering to both NUS and NTU. So far I received NUS offer.


FYI maybe you should know this:

There is a cap on the number of international students admitted each year, at around 18% of the intake for the year.

how about me?
im a foreigner that studied in sg since primary school.
wanting to enter NTU EEE
O level L1R5 is 12 L1R4 is 8 both are raw score.
A level RP is 73 points BBB for H2 chem, physic and math S for h1 econs,C for GP ,A for PW, B for chinese.
Is it possible to enter EEE in NTU

To be honest, NTU and NUS are not transparent about admission for foreigners. For people like you that have local qualifications its very difficult to enter local uni. The 20% quota is mostly reserved for overseas scholars that have extraordinary results.
