So it's true that if we study wel for the first sem in the NTU part time course, we can convert into full time?

It is unlikely that u can convert after the first sem or even the first 2 years. I scored perfect GPA of 5.0 on the first sem and I requested to convert, but was rejected due to my poly GPA only 2.8.

They mention to me only the top part time students with good diploma result(should be around 3.2GPA) are allowed to convert within the first 2 years, which is a special case. They have also assured me that if continue to do well, they will convert me after I complete 2years of part time.

below is what is metion on their website

Conversion From Part-Time to Full-Time Programme
After four semesters of part-time study, students may be allowed to convert their candidature to full-time study. Consideration for conversion is on a case-by-case basis and students who convert to full-time study are not permitted to revert to part-time study.

Hi bro Chez

Yes of course you can apply GPA 3.5 is consider a pretty high chance for NTU...even u can have a chance to apply FT as well...I ve friend has PA 3.5 and could get in mechanical..however Triple EEE based on ur GPA think should be ok...

the different of NTU and NUS..as a lay man....I think NUS is strong in theory...and deep...NTU has a balance.....and NUS PT differ from FT where NTU has the same course structure.....and takes 4-5 years....NUS may be 3.5-4 years....need to COnfirm again bro :)

You can graduate from NUS Engineering in 2 years part time
if you have first year subjects exemption
and you do not do honors year.
One of the lab technicians in NTU did that.

You can graduate from NTU Engineering Full time in 3.5 years
if you can successfully exempt Industrial Attachment.
or you choose Industrial Orientation if exemption is denied.

But please be warned that getting an Engineering Degree from both NUS and NTU
is not a walk in the park. It is much heavier than poly engineering diploma's courseload.

Dun try it. NTU got many students committed suicide and they did not report out only. Go other place but not ntu. This is for your own good.
