Misconception above. Normal route 4 years. With 32 AUs exemption of course won't need to overload. Thats if you are doing 4 years. But now its 3/3.5years. Where that one or two sems shortened is because of the 32 AUs exemption. So if you choose to do IA which is during your school semester, you need to overload to graduate since you cant take mods, (can't attain enough AUs) during your IA semester.
however if you take IO, which is during sem break, your usual sems will be free for you to to take your mods. So no need to overload.
