Misconception above. Normal route 4 years. With 32 AUs exemption of course won't need to overload. Thats if you are doing 4 years. But now its 3/3.5years. Where that one or two sems shortened is because of the 32 AUs exemption. So if you choose to do IA which is during your school semester, you need to overload to graduate since you cant take mods, (can't attain enough AUs) during your IA semester.

however if you take IO, which is during sem break, your usual sems will be free for you to to take your mods. So no need to overload.

click into the course, if the lecture is recorded, it will appear on the left panel below the home page, content, discussions etc. usually a few hours after the lecture

You should try NIE sports module or singing(choir)

you could try emailing him with regards to competition. see if he has a copy of the recording and he just being anal don't want to upload it but if he requested for the recording team not to record at all then gg le.

for mine the prof, used his phone to video record for a student cause she had clash of timetable. in the end the student dropped the mod. and he always has a full lecture class.

Which Engine school are you from? Go to your school webpage and check the curriculum structure.

For comp engine, 4 year for jc students. I don't know the details. Not jc student so didn't check.

For poly students, 32 AUs exemptions. So estimated course length is 3-3.5 years duebto exemptions.

Poly students in comp engine has option of:
1. 3 year course with IO during break.
2. 3.5 year course with IA during sem (slight overload)
3. 3 year course with IA during sem (heavy overload)

The above are Just estimated and recommended by the school. You can of course take longer to graduate if you wanna take the minimal number of mods per sem. Its up to you to plan your own route.

Im also a first year student. Just takes some effort to go to Ntu sce website and click around, you will find the info you need. I went back to see. they changed the structure for 2014! No more ia or io to choose. only have professional internship (pi). Zzzzz
