Hi guys! Has anyone got called for NTU discretionary interview for this year 2014-2015 intake?

For SMU, does anyone know how do they choose who to call up for interview? Will they call everyone or will they shortlist? My documents have been received since last Tuesday and have not gotten any calls. Hmmm.

What are your views?

Also, if I'm unable to get in either SMU or NTU, is SIT's newest diploma in Accountancy advisable as it's more recognisable than SIM?

What's your grade profile? Acceptance and rejections will be up until may/June so be patient. I believe SIT is also a degree in accountancy right? In any case, you should apply for unisim accountancy. Since they are already considered local. Not sim ge. Unisim. I believe they have full time accountancy degree now as well. I would say sit and unisim are both on par with each other. While the big 3 are a slight notch higher.

My GPA is a bit low at 3.48 however I applied NTU Accountancy uner distretionary admission as I have entrepreneurship experience and some great leadership experience and won some competition. Gonna hope that I would be called up for under discretionary admission.

Hmm, unisim is considered private as well? If not I would try applyign unisim as well. Have already applied for SIT and will be heading for an interview by them this coming Friday.

I'm a bit worried for SIT as it is niche in IT and for an Accountancy degree course may not be as good. Plus, they do not ask for your GPA when you apply, they only look in terms of your working experience or your CCA experience. Is that a good sign?

Thanks for your reply tho!
