the most dumb thing abt this ish they can still scan the membership and do payment at one go at the end, but forcefully instructed the cashier staff to obtain membership first and do payment later

scan after is better as i only need to unlock phone once during membership and payment together

if scan first, then phone go into lock mode (when i scanning each grocery items), during payment phase, i still need to unlock again

I think they follow Cold Storage. Cold Storage ask upfront for Yuu membership.

Not an issue for me.

That's because you are not using app payment.

When you scan your membership first, there's a chance certain coupons are applicable, so when you add the related items into cart, you can see the discount. When making payment, just use app payment, it will deduct accordingly, you don't need your phone for it.
