2. No need to pay anything

For me during self checkout is prepare the vouchers and payment first then scan.. after that scan items and payment auto deducted on app.. don't need click anything else for payment to process.. so membership and payment is all done at the start..

I believe this is also for assisted.. you scan payment in the app once can liao..

if chiu swipe away and do other stuff, it may hang up and they need redo

imagine if u hab two basket of item to scan, during this time they are restricting u from using your phone for other stuffs

Oh, I like this new change. Scan membership first means they identify you, and know what discount you are eligible for, like senior, merdeka or chas. Previously need staff to confirm after you show the senior card or chas card.

No chance for me to do other things.. i would be focus on the cashier make sure she scan properly.. or if i checkout myself when got time to surf other things on the phone..

No member, no such problem. Also, now always use the self check-out. See the staffed counter often quite slow.

Still, some quite buay-zi-dong one. Alot of items still go self checkout. Then don't know this don't know that, need to scan this check that, ask how use this card that card, end up the staff have to help scan and checkout instead, waste everyone time. Tao-nao-ta-sai.

Might as just go to the staffed counter let the staff do everything easier. Wonder why the staff at the self-checkout don't rebuke and reject them, send them packing go wait at the staffed counter instead.

Scan before or after i dont mind, but the point getting stingy with bonus
