I know besides the link points(you can get that without being a member), members get 20 ntuc shares that gives 4% rebate(cap at $240) p.a.

But members also have to pay $9 a month($18 for Dec). Which means members have to pay $117 to get $240 rebate which gives a net rebate of $123 p.a.

Is there anymore perks? Do you guys pay the membership fees using credit card one shot?(12months). And is the payment counted as online payment?

Is there any other perks besides the $123 net rebate?

I remember ntuc members get to book Costa sands resort sentosa at a discount.

Hi what do you mean by member get 20 ntuc share? I didnt receive any.

If u have gotten 4% rebate by end of the year(cap at $240), that means you have 20 ntuc shares. One share is worth $1. They will deduct $20 from your rebate.

I also got this membership, hard to understand the extra benefit.

A question to TS, how to check for the rebate? I purchased quite heavily in ntuc leh.

NTUC Fairprice year end is every Mar. You will get the dividend on shares and rebate on patronage some time between Jun and Sep after their year end.

You don't get free ntuc fairprice shares. You are entitled to subscribe for max of 20 shares at $1 each payable by deducting from the rebates you earned. Dividend on the shares quite good. But the number of shares for current members make it negligible.

I have 1000 shares (cost $1000) and 1262 bonus share. Last year they paid 7.5% dividend on 2262 shares :s12:

I have no choice but to carry on being union member year after year. Else they will buy back my 2262 shares for $2262.
