Howdy everybody!

Reason of me starting this thread is to allow current students or graduates of the NUS BTech, a part-time degree course to share their experience and insights, and how this piece of paper has brought them in terms of career and pay scale.

The school of part-time studies in NUS is now known as School Of Continuous And Lifelong Education (SCALE). They offer B-Tech courses in Engineering & Computing.

I applied a full time course but they got back to me with this course. Personally, I'm doing the Electronics Engineering program & it's my first week of school & the freaking lecturer don't even know how to teach. I'm pissed.

But all in all, I would love to pursue a teaching career like a lecturer or teacher someday. Would this degree do me well?

Most importantly, it's to allow people to share their ideas, experiences & insights of this part-time course from NUS.

Cheers to my dear HarwardWareZoners.

I see, thanks for your informations ;)

Can I ask what was your poly lecturer teaching? And the B.Tech he/she had is a part-time degree is it?

I remember one of my poly lecturer had a B.Tech degree from NUS.

One of my friend is doing this Btech degree as well, not easy.

Another friend of mine is doing EE in SUSS, not easy too, i helped him with some modules before. I did an EEE degree from NTU, and i feel generally EE is a bit tedious.

Hey you won't be paying subsidized course fee as you would have already been given TFL before.

No offer, but given option to take Mathematics Bridging Course and Test. They say must pass the test. Based on the SCALE website, there might be an interview after that. Just have to go through all that first then...
