Do you know the admission requirements for NUS PT Btech

Ntu study like mad. B tech study still not so bad.

So far I have seen colleagues, ntu pt usually get pass degree nia. B tech will have higher chance to get honours.

Wonder any current student of btech biz analytics who manage to still pass the maths and programming module without any background of it?
Is the degree really hard to juggle? I intend to apply for next year intake.. plan to use the one year period to study for Amaths and programming... really worry on these 2 aspects.. as I have very limited background on both. If I can put in 3hrs of study per day.. weekend 8hrs.. sufficient to cope with the rigour? The class start at 6.30pm on weekday? Classes held at Stephen Riady Centre?

Wah... interesting to note about yr recurrent interest... why dont u PM me and we chat on some IM... that will be easier

I would suggest commence the course earlier, dont waste 1 year just to study math and programming. For those without any background of those will find the learning curve steep but they start from pretty basic stuff, so far others without background of it able to pass the module.

When planning for the modules, dont take these 2 modules in the same semester. Typically people take 3 moduels in a sem, if you are worried then just take this math and another module for the semester, in that way you can handle it better.

Most importantly is planning of the modules, be prepared that there are quite a number of foreign students and they are very "on". So if you find the pace too fast, then take lesser modules. Don't be pressured by others as their plans is to graduate as soon as possible.

If you can spend 8 hours every weekend to study i think you will do fine for this course. The lessons are at school of engineering, Stephen Riady Centre is for business courses.

Anyone applied for biz analytics for this year's intake? Thinking of applying for AY20. I'm holding a diploma in mechatronics engineering from NYP, GPA 3.65, do I stand a chance to get accepted? was being rejected few years ago..:(

NUS Gen Ed Modules

Hi, I’m a first-year student in NUS. Which Gen Ed modules are easy to score and improve my CAP?

Are these modules recommended?
- GES1021 [Natural Heritage of Singapore]
- GET1018 [The Mathematics of Games]
- GER1000 [Quantitative Reasoning]

What other modules do you recommend?

Compulsory to attend BTech Computing Mathematics Bridging Course and sit for Mathematics Test

Outcome as above. Anyone with experience on the exam?

Course : Bachelor of Technology (Cybersecurity)
Bridging Course : GCE O'Level Additional Mathematics
- The Course comprises a total of 8 lectures and 4 tutorials, each of 3 hours' duration

Is the preparatory course sufficient to overcome the exam? Cost SGD550 though.

Did it specifically mention you need to take bridging course? Mine didn’t.
