Hi guys
Does anyone know when's the last batch of outcome of these two universities? I got offered from SMU economics, but I'm waiting to know if I can get into engineering course.

I graduated with diploma in engineering.(GPA3.77)
Previously I was from ITE with GPA of 3.9. Singapore PR anyway.

Thanks.

There are 2 windows of acceptance, first is from now till 25 May, the other is later in the year probably june-july? So technically, it can drag all the way till 1-2 weeks before orientation. I had seniors who were only offered places a week before school started!

What if i have an offer from another school? Does that mean that I have to give up that while waiting till june-july for the results? :s11:

As posted, you can accept a place and then appeal to the course you want.

However, appeals for the popular courses that require aptitude tests and interviews won't be entertained.

Well, appeal period hasn't even started yet so you can't appeal anyway :s13: NTU is 13th while NUS is 25th onwards after first window closes?

Hi, happen to see this post. Yes you can. Just go ahead and appeal for one course you comfortable in getting in. Of course it works better if you had already gone for interview. If haven't, just request for an interview. Good luck.

Yes, I did that last year. But that was after I had gone for interview and received no news when appeal opens. NTU did say go-ahead and appeal. But in most cases, applicants would have obtained an outcome either before or during appeal period.

But for mine is ADM which I sent my portfolio along with things they required. So can I still request for interview?
Thank you! :)

Huh? So let's say if I accept a place at NTU and awaiting for NUS appeal outcome. If the appeal successful, how do I get "un-place" myself back at NTU? :s11:

NUS Design still hasn't get back to me since my interview back April. Friend of friend went same week already got offer T.T

You can accept your offer first but appeal to another course.

That way, it ensures you have a university offer if your appeal fails.

Basically, your offer from NTU will still be there but if appeal successful, NTU will rescind the initial course and offer you the appeal course.

For other universities, it works like typical JAP acceptance. You can modify your offer during 2nd acceptance window if your appeal to say NUS is successful but don't be kumgong, appeal then reject your appeal course if successful :s22:
