Hello, I’m recently joined as I can’t find any answers to my questions about NVGs in singapore, I’m planning to buy a night vision goggles from Alibaba in a few month and I want to ask if it’s allowed here without a permit, the NVG is gen2 so I think it should be okay?

"Sensitive equipment like NVGs are regarded as controlled items or strategic goods. Military-spec NVGs are often treated as firearms.

"You will need special permission from the manufacturer and the Singapore authorities before the NVG is allowed here."
