Nvidia 970/980 GPU Boost Problem

Hi,

Need bros help here. Thinking of getting Palit GTX980 promo but read threads at nvidia forums (a lots of users seem to have this problem) of games crashed when GPU utilization is low. Something to do with the GPU boost voltage adjustment algorithm bug. Problem seems to be severe when card is overclocked.
Please share whether this is true.
