Nvidia Free Game Codes. How do they work?

Let's say I buy a 900-series card right now during the promo cycle for MGS. What happens to my free game code if I do not proceed to redeem the game code for MGS within the promo time frame?

Is the code tied to specific game based on DOP and therefore invalid once the promo period is over? OR is the code valid for upcoming free games so long as it remains unredeemed?

i don't think there is an expiry on the game code....

It's quite clear that the codes are tied to specific games based on promo. If it's a MGS code means it's a MGS code. They will expire if not redeemed by a stated deadline. Just google "nvidia game code expire".

If never redeem by deadline, then your code is just a list of alphanumeric letters which has no value... Simple as that and no one can help you since they gave you some time to redeem and you choose not to do so during this peroid.
