info right now is very limited (cool, quiet, fast : only thing from nvidia)

its always been this way. my old 5850 crossfire($370) also surpass 1x 580gtx($500-$600?). clearly this card not aim at you. if you cross fire your gtx 760, you are at your limit. people can up another 2-3 cards.

This card is not aiming at specific target segment. It's aiming at amd. 780 ti will cannibalize titan but it doesn't matter as long as it affect amd r9 290x sales. Now they got 2 high end card vs amd 1 high end.

Its more of like 3 (780, 780ti, titan) vs 2 (r9 290, r9 290x)... Just that it spans over a price range...

Most likely one more SMX unlocked with slightly better clock speed. As for other who knows it might be 4GB at 512 bits GDDR5...


900MHz+ at 2496 SP sound feasible, at this level it will be almost on par with Titan already, except it run at lesser memory (3 or 4 instead of 6GB) and has crippled 1/24 the double precision power.
