intel 12100 is out already? Thanks. I think i3-12100F is better value than Ryzen 3300X and 3600. I might consider that as budget build.
few months back, the lowest was 12400.

And it’s here.Got it too.
Have been waiting for a budget RTX card since 2020. Currently running GTX 950.
Before commenters advise, yes I know 3050 shouldn’t expect any good performance for RTX. Most likely will leverage on DLSSS more.
No matter, retail price and an upgrade nevertheless. The long wait is finally gonna end![]()

And it’s here.
Hard to find time nowadays to play with hardware/build nicely, So pardon the zero effort pictures and no unboxing experience. And ridiculous amount of dust
Just wanted to share as I would have been sceptical of getting a 3050 at retail price 1 week ago. It’s real, got it at $399, cannot be happier as getting GFx at SRP nowadays is like finding $500 on the floor. You don’t
Selling off my palit 950 if anyone is interested

It is small but certainly not that slim. From the picture, it seems to take up 2.2 slots. But enjoy it man. Finally unboxed the RTX 3050 which I managed to snag at $399 each. What a sm0l card!![]()

Forget about ray tracing with the 3050, it's too slow u wont use it. If you dont care about DLSS then get the 1660 TI and save some $$$.Hello! I’m looking at getting a RTX 3050. It appears from the reviews that it’s performance is around that of 1660 super/TI but with additional features like ray tracing. Saw a 1660 TI selling at $350+ after discounts/vouchers, while 3050 are all in 450+. Is getting 3050 over 1660TI worth the extra 100?
It depends on your usage, or games you always/ intend to play. Performance wise, both are pretty close. There are 2 benefits going with the RTX 3050,Hello! I’m looking at getting a RTX 3050. 1660TI at $350+ only ? So cheap ?Hello! I’m looking at getting a RTX 3050. It depends on your usage, or games you always/ intend to play. Performance wise, both are pretty close. There are 2 benefits going with the RTX 3050,
1. DLSS - This requires Tensor cores found only on RTX cards. I feel DLSS or FSR is an indispensable feature for low/mid tier cards since it can make an otherwise unplayable game, playable, without killing image quality. The good thing is that FSR 2.0 is becoming very viable alternative to DLSS 2.x, without the need for this Tensor core requirement, so the benefit of DLSS may get duller over time,
2. 8GB vs 6GB VRAM - While it is only 2Gb difference, its proven that some games like Watch Dog Legion will require 8GB of VRAM @ 1080p with Ultra Quality settings. And I believe this is not the only title that may be VRAM hungry.
Features like RT, you can pretty much forget about it. If high end cards like the RTX 3090 struggles with RT without DLSS, you can image it will end up looking like a pretty but stuttering mess of a game.
I was surprised too. Saw it at shopee, seller is Mansa Computer. I mean, they are not some unknown seller I supposed it is alright? $350+ is after voucher fyi1660TI at $350+ only ? So cheap ?
If price is good and suits your needs, then go for it.Thanks bros for the replies!
I play mainly Dota 2 nowadays. So it seems that if I don't mind missing out on features such as DLSS and the extra VRAM, 1660 TI is the way to go? Unless the prices are about the same..
Thanks. Yea pulled the trigger and it arrived today! Ended my 1 year plus wait for a gpu since prices spiralled out of controlIf price is good and suits your needs, then go for it.
