This is a tempting and lowest price indeed. Provided one can accept the aesthetics.
There are always die hard fans here going for 5090.....else IT industries will die.

During the old days, I can spend 1k just for a Creative Sound Card with 2x CD-ROM.

this will go well with @fkchon all Watercool heatkiller setup!
insanely good price, need to think about whether its worth though, it is tempting because watercool makes this cooler https://shop.watercool.de/HEATKILLER-V-ULTRA-for-RTX-5090-Palit-Gainward-ACRYL-Ni-Bl-aRGB

https://www.convergent.com.sg/palit-warranty-policy/
4. PALIT reserves the right to void the warranty

The warranty only covers manufacturing defects and does not extend to defects that are caused by non-compliance with operating instructions, improper use, inappropriate operating conditions, overload or modifications of the product.

In particular, the warranty will be null and void if

– the product has been modified and/or damaged in any way
– the serial number has been altered, defaced or removed
– the GPU cooler fan has been removed or replaced
– the product exhibits signs of corrosion or any other environmental damage

I may have secured a MSI 5090 Ventus local stock around $3300, already paid not sure if they actually have stock or not.

Which block? Alphacool? I think I'll get the GPU on hand first before ordering the watercooling parts, gonna need 2 more pairs of Koolance QDC again.

UPDATE: Nope nevermind, shop said inventory error and cancel the order. I'll just stick with 5080 until 6090.

Messaged them asked them for pricing both ASUS TUF and MSI Ventus, they only tell me TUF $4429. Ventus is out of stock.

I did see on their price list theres a RTX4090 ASUS Strix for $2099 for their special new outlet opening this friday.

You might have dodged a bullet if there is a 48GB 5090 Super when Nvidia do a refresh.

By the time 5090 Super comes out, its probably a year away from 6090 then the card isn't worth that much though. Even 16GB is plenty for 4K, only a handful of games use more than that.

To me, I already have depreciation target of $$500-1000 a year for 5090, so by the time I sell for 6090 I probably don't expect much more than $2000. The later a card releases the harder it is to justify it's cost.

just get palit loh, even you dont remove hsf, they will weasel their way with oxidation excuse. palit sg = take as no warranty :o

but at least you got heatkiller block!

if you see warranty void sticker, try use hair dryer and remove carefully.

i think 32gb 512bit 2nd hand sales will still in demand, warranty or not!

More and more 3k+ rtx 5090 now. I wonder why gigabytes and asus still hang on 4-5k pricing. How many will pay extra 1k+ for few more frame rate. No more crypto mining era now.

Its the BTF version of the 4090 they are clearing. So unless u have a BTF board it would not work.

I don't want to use Liquid Metal. So Duronaut, Honeywell PTM7950 (how I know which one is legit on tabao?) or ThermalGrizzly Kyrosheet?

Also prices for Koolance QD3 doubled since I bought couple months ago. May have to consider getting Alphacool Eiszapfen QDC instead.

ac say mybfde it is by specs, but you can compare with ventus heatsink when you taked out.
https://forum.alphacool.com/threads...reference-block-covering-all-components.5863/

just hope ac made revision to ventus block because their pny block have 2 more contact points. pny and ventus both use same referance pcb layout.

what u can do is smear thermal putty or thermal pad across those vrm and let them share heat with the nearby vrm that got contact

pny got extra arrow contacted
