I already notice some shops in sim lim selling 5090 quite a bit higher than when I bought in July not to mention there are lesser SKU available

dont think mlid is a reliable source of info... stopped watching him after seeing him spout the rtx super BS that it will come out this year...

To be fair, Nvidia started a cycle since the 3090, 4090 and 5090, they are trying to make the highest end SKU remain costly throughout its lifespan. And to be absolutely fair, EOL 5090 even before the 6090 is released, that's definitely something that Nvidia would do. They can just repurpose all the 5090 chips into binned down RTX 6000 Pro GPUs, which I think it makes more sense for them. I'm just super glad I got my 5090 earlier liao.
