May I know if the update was side load or via OTA ? Does 3G/HSPA still work or the totally cannot detect sim at all ? Could it be missing APN ?

I bought the tablet 2 days ago and I tried asking the Amazon CSO if it is possible for me to get the free controller as well and the CSO said they will send me the controller as well.
So if you bought it in the last few days, you can try go chat with the Amazon CSO.

Does this mean that they are paying GST on my behalf for the Import fees deposit?
