nvme ssd comparison

which ssd would you recommend between the 3 brand and model below? looking for 1tb capacity, not looking at adata for now as they change the controller and seems slower now.

am looking at:

corsair MP 600, samsung 970 evo plus and WD N750. they seems in similar price range too...

Was in the same situation as TS a few weeks ago until I decided to hoot the Adata x8200 pro during 11.11 sales for $135
Decent speed - a bit off from the advertised speed of 3500mb/s, but in term of price perf ratio it's still by far the best among the rest
For day to day usage, I don't perceive any obvious gain over my last samsung 850 Evo SSD SATA III. From what I gathered online, will only see the gain for huge file transfer operation such as video editing.

I would go for WD Black SN750 1TB. If you don't mind DRAMless. WD Blue 1TB is very cheap.

China brand Orico also very cheap for 1TB.

i have used mp510, 960 evo and wd 750. they are all similar. go for the one with longest warranty.

FYI - MP600 is GEN 4... if your mobo do not support it, don't waste money...

yep, and as a result it is quite expensive. mp600 goes for $200 locally for 500gb, while the sn750 and 970 are at least 30% cheaper. if willing to take risk, sn750 is under $100 on amazon shipped. so not sure where u saw that they all cost the same, unless u compared the 250gb mp600 to 500gb models of the other ones

Will be building a new rig so will be using b550 motherboards.. looking at msi tomahawk. I think it will support?

yours still good... the newer 1tb ones are change to 2262G controller which is slower, not too sure slower by how much but i would avoid that for my new rig ba.

My SSD is covered with the heatsink so I can't look at the chip itself
