Unless you can see the speed diff between 2000MBps and 3000MBps like the expert here. I just bought Klevv c710 512. Cheapest.

Uses SMI SM2263XT as the controller which means no dram cache, it relies on HMB which means it eats your system ram instead since it doesn't have dedicated ram built into the controller.

Short answer: It's fine for everyday use (web browsing, gaming etc) if you are on a budget.

whats HMB btw?

Dram in ssd allows it to better keep track of where the data is stored since those data are constantly changing. Cheaper drive tend not to have onboard ram as a cost saving feature so these dramless controller tend to use HMB, Host memory buffer which uses your PC's ram as a substitute for tracking the data (this reserves some of your ram for your SSD usage). HMB doesn't fully negate the potential loss of performance due to lack of dedicated onboard dram but it compensate a portion of it. Most NVMe drives on the market either uses built-in dram or HMB with a few exceptions like SN550 which uses small amount of built-in SRAM. Hopefully you get it haha
