NVME to SATA Adapter

I need to use a old NVME SSD in a machine that do not have the M2 slot.

I read many old forum posts in 2017 that it is impossible. Only SATA m.2 can be converted to SATA. Since then, there are almost no newer post on this.

that is a pcie adapter
not a nvme to sata adapter
and yes, pcie adapter will work

Thanks! Seems like cannot convert nvme to a SATA head for internal HDD
