Hi guys,

Just purchased the NZXT Hue+ extension kit. When trying to install to my existing hue+, the connecting cable that come in the box doesn't seems to fit in. The clip on the cable is bigger than the hue+s extension port. Did i get the wrong cable or am i missing something here.

TIA for any advise given.:)

Didn't the Hue+ already come with the 2 cables to connect the strips directly to the controller?

The extension kit is meant to extend the daisy chain of strips, not to start a new line of strips.

Ah, i get what you mean now. There's another connecting cable that came with the Hue+. Thank you for the advise. Silly me of not checking the Hue+ box. Then again, is the purpose of the connecting cable that came with the extension kit?

The connecting cables are literally the same as the ones found in the Hue+ kit. U can choose to directly daisy chain multiple strips into a single 60cm/120cm/180cm strip, or can use the connecting cables to connect between 2 strips so as to nicely spread the strips around the PC case without it looking like one gigantic long LED strip.

It's a manufacturing defect. The provided cable on the extension has a bigger 'clip'. You can use the leftover cables provided by the hue+ or cut away the oversized clip with a scissors.
