i have old casing and still usable.. its just that it only support matx and very poor cable management. This razer casing seems so cool! but not sure if the airflow and cable management is good or not. need more readings and recommendation from other ppl :s12:

Check out Fractal Design, Define R5. Comes in either windowed or non-windowed versions.

I would imagine that the airflow and cable management aren't much different from the 'normal' H440. I have a normal H440 and I'm satisfied with it. Cable management is a breeze. Easy to make everything look neat. As for air flow, I think it's ok, but I've seen some people complain about it.

H440 very little issue for cable management but airflow only adequate (or below). But aesthetically it is very pleasing.

R5 also not bad and have better airflow than h440 due to modular vent system on top of case. Or can consider Corsair Air series for airflow. Usually higher end cases cable management not an issue. Do note that high airflow compromises silence.

Thanks for the recommendation!

Hmm, seems R5 airflow is better just that the design is plain compared with NZXT with green lighting (supercool).

but reading around, quite some ppl says that NZXT h440 have bad airflow...:(. but the case is just so dang attractive

Thanks! how about the motherboard? ATX only? or MATX also can?

I’m no expert so take what I say with a pinch of salt. But if you’re not going to do a lot of CPU overclocking and not going to run SLI or CF, then I don’t think it’s an issue.

The H440 have lesser cable management clearance from the back panel. Check out LinusTechTips review. He has a full system built into it so you can have a better gauge whether it is suitable for you.

one is airflow. the other one is looks. if no need for some heavy load, heat intensive stuff, the looks one will do. all depends on what TS wants. i suspect its looks.

for me, i prefer the normal h440 look. but yes, $50 off is quite a good price. don't bother about the skeptics. yr pc won't burn using this case.

Actually, even though I'm using H440, I think the R5 also not bad in terms of looks. And if better airflow? Double advantage.

The NZXT H440 Razer Edition is a great looking case. The matte black finish looks great, and the lighting is not so overdone it detracts from the overall appearance. But after some use, it became clear the paint job itself could use a little work. It scratches and marks much to easily, and its made even worse when the entire case is matte black. NZXT has said they plan to use this matte paint on all new production H440 cases. That might not be a problem with lighter colors, but with darker colors, it very much is. I didn’t do anything to this case I haven’t to others I’ve reviewed, but you can see how the paint has been scratched off and marked. Because of this issue, I give the appearance score an 8.75 out of 10.

If you get it, be careful with the paint...
