Need post-O levels advice!!
Hello!
Recently my JAE got rejected because my results aren't that good!
I got D7 math, C6 Combine Humans, B3 English, B4 Pure Geography, C6 Combine Science (Chem/Bio).
After minusing CCA (-1), I have l1r4 23.
I'm definitely retaking combine science and math this year, perhaps even Geography because I usually get B3 for it but only got B4.
I know I will definitely work harder for my results, no question about it as my parents cannot afford private school or tuition.
I was thinking of trying to direct appeal at Republic Poly for Game Design since the point is 21, a 2 point difference from my score. My interest is in Game Art Design in Nanyang Poly but I know I won't get in even if I did try to appeal since the point is 17.
I was hoping if I get a better score in O Levels I can apply to transfer course from RP to NYP.
Do you think I should go to ITE while retaking O's or RP while retaking O's? Should I try to appeal at NYP anyway? If I get rejected I will just appeal to RP, but I don't know if I should try my luck for NYP anyway. Also, is transfering courses from RP to NYP very difficult? Should I just stick to ITE and then transfer after a year?
I'm a girl so I do not have to worry about NS if you would like to take that into account.
