OCBC on Wednesday said it would revise the terms of its 360 account - which offers 3 per cent in bonus interest annually on deposits up to S$50,000. This is the highest saving rate available in the market, at the moment. It has lowered the current maximum for the bonus interest to 2 per cent, based on existing terms.

It will also, from May 1, introduce two new categories for customers to earn additional interest. An OCBC spokeswoman said customers who satisfy the terms of the two new categories could have their deposits yield an interest of over 3 per cent.

"With effect from 1 May 2015, we will introduce two new bonus interest categories that will earn you a better rate, when you bank more with us. More details about these two new bonus interest categories will be announced then."

Wonder what the new categories will be. Max interest might still work out to 3.05%.

If its something along the line of spend $1k, get another 0.5%, ppl sure zao.

I have a feeling its even harder than the $500 spending.
