received one with my name in front, but is blank at the back, unlike others with boxes to fill info like account number, name and hp number. Ocbc sexpect us to ownself auto fill? if no need to fill, what if got other account holder with same name?

Steps to Bank In a Cashier's Order at DBS:
Quick Cheque Deposit Box

(Recommended): Visit any DBS/POSB branch and drop the cheque into the designated box. You do not need to fill out a deposit slip, but ensure your account number is written on the back of the Cashier's Order.

Digibank App/Mobile Deposit: Use the mobile app’s digital cheque deposit feature to scan and deposit the cheque.

Cut-off Time: Deposit before 3:30 PM on a business day to ensure funds are cleared by 2 PM the next working day.

its a cashier order, if you dont want to write you account number + contact behind and throw into the cheque box, just go to your bank branch on sat to bank in loh. The issuing bank wont know which account you want to bank in how to prefill your bank details?

You are receiving cashier order for the first time? The reason the account no. is left blank is because you can bank in the cashier order to any bank accounts with any banks under your name. Not necessarily with the issuing bank.

Congratulations on selling your million dollars condos or HDB. Time to buy another bigger, better condos ok r landed.

as in the staff will process the cashier's order immediately if go to the bank? thought they will also treat it like cheque, ask you to drop into the quick cheque deposit

Its not a cheque. Go bank take queue number. Money immediate on the spot come in.

maybe better to spend a few hours waiting at the bank

ha, actually that was my question ... if throw in the box is better to write acct number and contact but ocbc have it totally blank at the back, not say need to spoon feed rah but serves as a little reminder mah ... maybe to them is a by default thingy, ownself automatic

eg. but if you have accounts with dbs, uob, stand chart..... how ocbc knows which accounts you want to bank into right? also you can just write across the back of the cheque, if your handwriting is big the box i find is not very useful

ya la, ts is just questioning how come behind no empty printed boxes for inputting account number nia. of course big font small font for big boxes small boxes can't be helped ,just print average size boxes will do.
those SS /ntuc lucky draw forms also lidat mah
