I think I cant explain - Is Shilla Duty Free (Perfumes, Watches) considered a retail transaction for the enhanced earn rate on the OCBC Titanium rewards card (10X OCBC$)? Or is it a non retail transaction earning the base (1X OCBC$)?

This is not related to any promotion - just part of regular spending...

Shilla Duty Free is not eligible for 10X OCBC$.
You will be able to get 1X OCBC$.

Hi kashanai,

Transactions are coded by the merchants and its' acquiring banks. This is out of OCBC's control. The bonus OCBC$ will be credited for purchases which the merchants categorised as an online transaction.

Some examples of fee and charges would be transactions such as annual fee, late charges, and interest charges.

The last we checked, Toys"R'us transactions are not eligible for 10X OCBC$. Could you drop us a private message with your bank registered mobile number? We could look into your transaction made in June, and check on the MCC.

Generally, only one card should be targeted for the promotion if you are holding on to both the Pink and the Blue.

The OCBC$ will be credited for transactions that are made online. How the transactions are coded by the merchant is out of OCBC's control. If the transactions are coded by the merchants as an online transaction, it will be eligible for the promotion.

However, at the moment, we are not able to ascertain what the MCC is, and if the additional OCBC$ will be credited automatically.

10X OCBC$ is given based on the MCC of a merchant. The MCC is dependent on the merchant and its' acquiring bank, and is out of OCBC's control.
