Redeem to bonus miles first then km miles to avoid the ocbc$ charges but redeem km miles got small amt charge such as min. S$ 3

May i know how many days the conversion of ocbc$ to bonus miles takes?
-OCBC rewards online website says 21 working days
-called and the 1st phone operator told me immediate
-called again and the 2nd phone operator told me 7 working days
this is confusing me :s11:

For bonus miles to kris flyer miles, a couple of days. I did mine on the 5th feb. I check my kris flyer account on 10feb. It's already in.

Maybe your question was misleading. Converting from OCBC$ to Titanium Bonus miles is indeed instant. Converting from OCBC$ or Titanium Bonus miles to KF miles in your KF account takes around 1-2 working days based on my experience so far.

I think it is an indication of how hopeless this card was that I have to dig out a 6 months old thread.

Anyway, OCBC has revamped the card completely.

https://www.ocbc.com/personal-banking/cards/titaniumrewards-mastercard.html

In a nutshell, 4 miles/$ for department stores, clothes, shoes, bags, children's clothes and electronics shops. In addition, until end of the year, 4 miles/$ for personal care (basically pharmacies) & for use with mobile payments like Apple/Samsung/Android Pay.

Sounds like Citibank Rewards ++.

Looks like OCBC has finally came out with a card that is competitive for the miles earners.

Important for those with existing titanium miles.

  • Now till 30 November 2016: You may redeem your Bonus Miles for KrisFlyer miles on ocbc.com/rewards in blocks of 10,000 Bonus Miles at $25 per redemption on ocbc.com/rewards.
  • By 15 December 2016: All unredeemed Bonus Miles will be converted to OCBC$ at a conversion rate of 1 Bonus Mile = 2.5 OCBC$ (rounded down to the nearest OCBC$). All converted OCBC$ will be valid for a period of 2 years from the date of crediting.

Quick question guys: is there any OCBC CC that gives 4miles/$1 for PayWave transactions? Thought I can stick to the OCBC ecosystem because otherwise I'll get onto UOB liao

The new E-COMMERCE PROTECTION feature seems to be inspired by American Express. Same underwriter (AIG) :s13:

Just applied for the card and will probably start shopping online to see which gives the 10 x rewards. Anyone started using the card already?
