Why is it conflicting though? Merchants are categorized by their line of business. Clearly Redmart (regardless who they are under) is selling
grocery items and not under the eligible MCC to get 10X.
Lazada is one of the merchants listed in the ocbc titanium website to award 10x for ANY purchase.
"Any" in this circumstance would have override the MCC clauses such as electronics/clothes etc as lazada sells a ton of things other than electronics and it wouldnt make any sense for only redmart to be excluded.
For example I could be buying a random hand soap/body soap from lazmall and be awarded 4mpd, why would redmart then be excluded?
Ocbc should be awarding any transactions based in lazada inclusive of redmart since this is part of their "promotion campaign" to attract more customers to get the card.
Afterall I can still use my dbs wmcc to get 10x/4mpd. It's the titanium card loss if it excludes something clearly listed black and white in their website.
