Hi there,

Insurance Premiums (except NTUC income) will be eligible for 1 OCBC$.
Do note that payments made via Internet Banking or AXS will not be eligible.

Hi OCBC,

Does this mean the premium payment must be made by GIRO that is charged to cc in order for it to be eligible? Will this be considered under Spend bonus for 360 account?

Hi there,

As long as the insurance premium (apart from NTUC Income) is not made via Internet Banking or AXS, it will be eligible for 1X OCBC$.

This will count towards the minimum spend for 360 account's Credit Card Spend Bonus.

Hi all,

Even though Redmart is now under Lazada, Redmart purchases are still coming in as MCC-5411 (Grocery Stores). Hence, it will not be eligible for 10x OCBC$.

Isn't this conflicting with what is advertised on the titanium card landing page?

"On top of that, we recognise and award 10x OCBC$ on any purchases when you shop at the following merchants: lazada"

Might want to reword the "any" in that case.

Why is it conflicting though? Merchants are categorized by their line of business. Clearly Redmart (regardless who they are under) is selling
grocery items and not under the eligible MCC to get 10X.

Inferring from the faq from lazada, u can add any non-redmart item and the entire transaction will be under Lazada, instead of groceries.

Hi there, yes, I applied for the card because I saw that Redmart was integrating under Lazada and the common man can only infer that he/she is purchasing from Lazada in that sense. When I log in, I have to go through Lazada's site. And when I was invoiced, I received it from Lazada too. So unless I'm the only one that got confused, it is definitely misleading in that sense. It's easy to say on hindsight now that it's according to MCC, of which I agree, but who here knows about Lazada's business model enough to have said confidently that Redmart is under a different MCC from Lazada?

Does the wording have to change? Absolutely.

Lazada is one of the merchants listed in the ocbc titanium website to award 10x for ANY purchase.

"Any" in this circumstance would have override the MCC clauses such as electronics/clothes etc as lazada sells a ton of things other than electronics and it wouldnt make any sense for only redmart to be excluded.

For example I could be buying a random hand soap/body soap from lazmall and be awarded 4mpd, why would redmart then be excluded?

Ocbc should be awarding any transactions based in lazada inclusive of redmart since this is part of their "promotion campaign" to attract more customers to get the card.

Afterall I can still use my dbs wmcc to get 10x/4mpd. It's the titanium card loss if it excludes something clearly listed black and white in their website.

RE: Query on eligiblity for Microsoft.com purchases

Hi OCBC,

May I check if electronics purchases (i.e. Microsoft Surface) made on the Microsoft online store will be eligible for the 10x rewards point offered for either online purchases or electronics purchase?

Thank you for taking the time to reply to this query!
