In the US on a business trip and wife tried to reach OCBC Customer service at around 11am SGP (11pm EST) time thru their International Customer Service Number.
No one answered for half an hour (put on hold). Had to drop the call as this is LONG DISTANCE CALL! You think OCBC will at least prioritize their customers who are outside of Singapore due to the cost but no.
Never had this waiting time when I called other banks outside Singapore ON the same timings. Citibank - about 3 minutes wait time. POSB - about 1 minute wait time only. Standard Chartered - 3 minute wait time.
OCBC has twice the waiting time of the other banks COMBINED!
When I come back...I'll terminate my account with them. Not good for business. Not good for personal.
