ODD can't detect MOBO cd and GPU cd

Just installed windows 7 OEM to my ssd last night.
This shows that my ODD is working properly.

However, upon booting to windows, I inserted MB cd for MB drivers to install. Windows did not detect anything, not even a auto run. Under my computer icon, it showed only ssd and hdd, no other known drive.

The same goes for my GPU cd.

Any alternative method?

MB: H81M-DGS
GPU: R9-270X powercolor devil version.

Check the connection for the ODD. A physical ODD should always appear in My Computer, regardless of whether there's a disc inserted or not.

Yes, it should be appeared as a physical drive for ODD. But I did not find it anywhere. The sata cable has been replaced and I still did not find it on the drive directories.

Yup, The only problem is I need an ethernet cable to do that. I can't go wireless at all. A portable USB HDD cannot be detected upon USB port connect because the USB is not known. - -

You have to plug the USB HDD into a USB2 port (not USB3 port which is usually colored blue).

Windows 7 don't have native XHCI (USB 3.0) drivers, so none of the blue ports can be used until you install the driver provided by the hardware vendor (In this case, most likely Intel).

can you rephrase this to me? I was using sata and ide all along.

Just plug in another SATA dvd drive to confirm. I have a hunch it's dead. We can't predict when it will die after all. Consider all possibilities.
