To be honest, unless the focal length of the lens is longer than 24mm, I don't really see the benefits of OIS in wide angle lens in cameraphones. Instead, a properly calibrated ips display and tweakable text ppi resolution is more welcome.

Useful when taking indoors or handing over the phone to another person to take photos for you with shaky hands.

I have higher keep rate from the photos from G2 despite having a longer focal length lens than find7a.

Its doesnt. I am also puzzled why most phones dont have. Even if that adds cost to it, I am sure many wont mind.

Having a ois is many times more useful than finger print scanner or super loud speakers imo.

OIS also helps in terms of stabilising video recording

Loud is good. Loud can make it not so loud. For phones that has whispering ringtones, cannot make 'em loud.

who now has 7a will upgrade to 7 when launched?

Nah. 7a is good enough already and spec wise i'm happy with it.
With the diff of $120 can buy additional accessories eh.

Unless 7 has features that 7a doesn't have which i don't think have.

Confirm only 3gb for apps? It that is true i will probably skip this. Dont want to repartition n mess with pit files and such.

Had some old gingerbread phones before which had 2gb app partitions. After a while i ran put of space to even update the existing apps on the phone itself, not to mention installing new ones.

Verified again the WiFi signal is indeed very much stronger than my G2 and M8. At the same spot, G2 only has 1 bar, M8 can't even connect and the 7A is still full bar signal and view YouTube without issue.

That is another compelling reason on switching my M8 to a Find 7a, am having poor wifi connectivity issue as well on the M8. AHHH POISON MUCH.
