I switched from Note 3 to XiaoMi now but can't use to small screen.

Now considering Oppo Find 7a but seeing some ppl selling 1 or 2 weeks old phone. Are the flaws on this phone?

Please advice.

Major peeve:
1. Yellowish tint at the bottom of screen
2. Touch screen sometimes doesn't register, sometimes overly sensitive
3. Screen is hard to read under the sunlight

the only flaws would be the yellowish screen right at the bottom of the phone.
not really that obviously to all users.

some said the screen is sort of sensitive.

The phone is fine...infact its so fine that i had 2 units.
Note 3 is still my daily driver due to s pen..

My use of F7a shd b a unique.
- my cast partner for my firetv ..it installed with amazon as well..
- gaming handheld (currently playing nfs...damn shiok due to its brightness)

Your 2.0 stable?

Ver 2.0 is pretty much stable with added features in comparison.

Only problems I come across is the phone idle battery drain
and some facebook app crashes.

Can drain around 20ish percent overnight in 6+ hours =(

Usage wise, battery life is decent.
Can't wait for the battery patch for 2.0

heard that if u flash CM, the batt life will be fantastic plus the phone will be even faster, but still got bugs. I think give it another month and we should get a CM build that has everything working.

I flashed back to 1.2 and did the OTA update.The battery performance seems much better now...75%now with 90mins SOT..auto brightness,WiFi off,sync on.Quite good as compared to before update.

How's your touchscreen? They were supposed to fix it but seems to made things worser for some people.

Was hyper sensitivity...now seems kinda slow (compar3d to.before)

Overall its ok. Updated to the latest. No complaint from customer who try the demo set.

I switched from note 3 to oppo find 7a. Not complaints except for times when I need to use the stylus. Otherwise, I think find 7a is better in almost every imaginable way, especially when it is only 2/3 the price of note 3.

Note 3 over Find 7a
1. stylus
2. hardware home button
3. better power and volume buttons
4. more colour options
5. battery cover is more 'sticky'
6. more roms to flash
7. more accessories

Find 7a over Note 3
1. MUCH better loud speaker
2. slimmer i think
3. MUCH faster charging
4. better earphones
5. better music quality
6. sexier notification light
7. better and faster camera
8. I think wifi and gps seem better
9. sim/sdcard slot easier to use
10. a lot of gestures (i especially like the knock to wake...more accurate TRIPLE knock to wake)

Equally matched
1. screen
2. phone quality
3. better life


having said all these, I gotta say there is something amazingly seductive about note 3 that makes me unwilling to abandon it, but still i carry on using find 7a as my main driver.
