Agree that every brand has it's own issues. Rem the iPhone 4 had that antenna issue and they claimed u were holding it wrong? Even a big company like Apple has issues that should have been caught before launch, at least oppo didn't blame the defect on the user which is good.

Next point on resale. Does Samsung really got better resale? Comparing apples to apples, if u bought the Note 3 at rrp at launch, u would have lost $450 in 7 months. Will the Find 7a fetch only $149 2nd hand in 7 mths?

Why not order the black kevlar one via Taobao? It should be available there right?

Good point, comparing apples to apples, a Ferrari has higher depreciation than a Toyota :)

Those who play with gadgets shouldn't mind the resell price as they are sure to lose more money as compared to a buyer who bought the phone and use it for 1-2 years :D

Saw it selling at gadget world.
Same price with promotor....hmmmm (dun remember they r retailers??)

F7a is a cheaper than most flagship of same hw.
OPO had same hardware...but as uts with CM11s, there r still bugs.. (not for the fainted hearted)....thus F7a is a gd unit.

Contemplating if i should update to the latest OTA firmware. Heard the battery life is much improved on this one but the touch sensitivity has gone slightly worse? Anyone can advise? :o

CM11s are not stable...(even for OPO)
Generally, CM are for people whom are into trying new stuff...

batt drain definitely improved if u're on the latest 0510 fw. if u're on AOSP roms, batt life also very good.

i agree touch sensitivity has gone worse. but that's because my touch sensitivity was ok in the 1st place. for those who were too sensitive then this latest update should improve things for them.

anyway u can still try for fun, if dun like can still flash back the old fw.. just that got to reinstall yr stuff cos if u flash via fastboot it wipes yr data...
