I think in some reviews they said that the back is not removable. So I would think that buying an extra battery wouldn't help with the poor battery life.

If that's the case, then if the phone is popular they will release a extra battery. If they don't release there will almost definitely be a non-original extra battery on EBay or some other website.

It might be useful for readers to know that:

1. The Z2 also has quite an attractive notification LED strip at the top of the phone. Works quite well with apps like Light Manager to output a wide range of colours.

2. The Z2 may not have built in wireless charging but it has quite a unique magnetic charging port. Very convenient to snap on the charging cable or dock magnetically without having to open the cap covering the micro USB port (the cap is for waterproofing purposes). Magnetic charging cable or dock are sold separately but they're not too expensive.
