**Offical Oppo Find 7 thread**

Honestly I hope OPPO releases a Cyanogenmod edition for the Find 7/7a. Or at least offer the firmware as an alternative to their Colors OS.

I was considering getting the Oppo N1 but the weight of the phone and dated specs turned me off.

This is coming from someone who doesn't know anything about rooting/flashing firmware.

Things I learn after 24 hours with the Find 7a black edition

1. Speaker is really loud
2. microusb port is upside down
3. plug in headphones will launch oppo music player. This behavior can be turned off by disabling Music space in the Apps Manager
4. The capacitive buttons are more miss than hits
5. I can change the telco indicator from text to logo.
6. Rapid charger is really really rapid.

No rooting required. Have used on My Galaxy Note 2 before. Went to Malaysia and the operator logo changed according to their network. Good for monitoring which network you're connected.

Phone a bit bigger than what I am used to.
When typing I press the space bar a bit too low and end up on the home screen because I hit the home button. Always miss hit the back button arrrggg

So finally change a set of 7a...I log in to hwz all ready to update that there's stock and wait... What?! Still the yellow tint is there. The guys at the service centre assure me that oppo have checked the screen for this batch before sending to them. Guess I'm just gonna live with yellow tint.

Agree with you, another point is the screen is really too sensitive, very easily get multiple taps when you only want one tap

Also, anyone knows how to change the haptic feedback strength? It's a little weak for me...

Yellow tint is of no issue to me, I only noticed it when the screen was really bright and on a white background, otherwise in normal usage, you will struggle to even see it consciously

Flashing and rooting for Find 7,imho so far is the easiest as compared to those established brand.There are plenty threads for this in Oppo forum/XDA.

You will be surprised with the latest released of Gummy ROM.
I can have a very good battery standby time,louder in call volume...and etc.
So far i still haven't encounter any problem with it yet.
