Does anyone know how to get the 3000mah batteries? Got feeling quite a few taobao ones are fakes.. :(

if u have frens going to BKK you can get them to go to MBK level 4/5 there's an OPPO service centre/retail shop where you can get the 3000mah battery for SGD24(600THB)

Im using it now. So far so good

Lol...Walk inside but is all XiaoMi products

Guys, I just got an oppo find 7 yesterday. Phone was superb except for the camera and I've updated to kit kat and using the jelly bean skin in the theme shop. One caveat though, I'm very very dissapointed with the battery. Only managed to get 4 hrs of screen on time before battery fluctuates to a low 8%. Didn't play any games and only used messaging app and social media for when I use the phone. How do I improve The battery life and is the on screen time normal??

the screen eats up most of your batt life, not wifi, not games, not goggle services.

so, i guess 4 hrs is normal if screen is on all the time.

under idle, it should drop about 1-3% per hour.

Last week, under light use (reply whatsapp messages), managed 3 days before charging at 19%.

Ok, i'll try it. Just that the battery is bad, coming from a note 3. And my brightness is always at its lowest. Hopefully future oppo 9 has better battery life. 4 hours on screen time is too little, in my opinion :(

anyone updated the coloros v2.0.0i and rooted it?

battery life drains quite a lot, anyway to rectify it?

This oppo, ki siao 1. Last time, when i first bought it, can last over night and the next morning still 100% batt. Now, it drops about 5-10% overnight (apparently due to wifi/goggle services). Then there was a period of time, overnight can drop as much as 30-50% (apparently due to wifi/goggle services). after that i just did a reset, now its back to 5-10% drop overnight.

Not updating yet. Read somewhere its not "optimized". Once optimized, they will release it OTA.

just got it rooted to find out wat's eating my battery through wakelock and found out google play services takes loads of my batt, just freezed it with app freezer

if ur batt becomes better aft reset then maybe it's the initial battery counter, gotta use those battery calibration app to reset the counter, tht also need root
