ALO's up to eighth, as LAW makes up five spots to shuffle up to ninth - ahead of team-mate HAD, who's come under attack from STR

PIA's already 1.7s up on Norris, who's trying to clear off ahead VER. ANT's managed to stabilise to keep RUS behind

"It's drying very quickly," PIA says

NOR has broken away from VER by over a second, as the top 10 appears to have spaced out slightly. a replay of BEA threading his car down the inside of BOR and DOO into Turn 1 - a nice little move there

No further investigation on the ANT/PIA scuffle at Turn 1. VER has been noted for starting out of position on the grid. that's usually a slam-dunk, as it's sensor-based, but the stewards say no further action. LAW, meanwhile, is struggling to see with a crack in his visor causing it to mist up

ANT went a touch wide at Turn 11, but preserves fourth. the cars look very tentative out there, as they're trying to find wet track off-line to keep the tyres cool. SAI tries to pass OCO at Turn 17, but goes wide on the exit and narrowly evades the wall. OCO retains 12th

PIA is now three seconds up on NOR, with VER a further 2.5s back. RUS' right on ANT's tail, as HAM's now under attack from ALB

"I have no visibility, I don't know if it's the coating but it's terrible," VER says

RUS has a little wide at Turn 7 and loses a bit of time to ANT - but he's angling for a switch between the two cars. NOR is closing on PIA, while ALB is hustling HAM as the Ferrari driver is struggling slightly

DRS is now enabled

"It's dry enough for slicks," ANT says; and TSU duly obliges with a set of medium tyres. can the Red Bull driver make up the time? NOR is now just 1.7s off PIA now, so it looks like he'd spent the early laps saving a little bit. the McLarens have dropped VER

NOR is right on PIA's tail now, and will have DRS on his team-mate. VER pits - but Red Bull release their driver into the path of ANT! this has broken VER's front wing, while SAI now has a punctured tyre following another incident! it's drama here!
